WALKXR

A little help for your walk.

Getting started

Open Walkxr on your Apple Watch. Match your treadmill speed with + and −, enter optional incline, and start walking — or start from the iPhone. Turn on Crown speed control in Settings if you prefer the Crown. Pause the app whenever you pause the treadmill. Walkxr never controls the treadmill.

Why does the distance differ?

The calculation depends on the treadmill’s reported speed and the timing of your updates. Belt calibration and gradual acceleration can differ from the displayed speed. Walkxr solves the stationary-wrist estimate problem; it does not independently measure belt movement.

Pro hasn’t appeared on Watch

Restore Purchases on iPhone with the Apple Account used for purchase. Open Walkxr on Watch with a network connection so it can refresh Pro access. Your iPhone and Watch share the same Pro access.

Workout saving failed

Keep the Watch summary, check Health write permissions, and retry saving. A recovery record remains locally until you discard it. Saved Health workouts can be removed in the Health app.

Walkxr left the screen during a walk

Allow Health workouts for Walkxr: the workout session keeps it on screen. Without Health access your Watch may return to the clock after a couple of minutes, but the walk keeps counting and the Free warning and limit still arrive as notifications.

Phone not showing live stats

Open both apps, enable Bluetooth, and bring your paired devices closer. The Watch tracks independently. A stale phone display says it is waiting for the Watch; it never silently invents missing metrics.

Privacy controls

Adjust Health permissions in Health → profile → Apps and Services → Walkxr. Turn local reminders off in Walkxr settings. Remove local records from the Watch summary or uninstall the app. See our Privacy Policy.

Billing

Manage subscriptions or request a refund with Apple. Lifetime does not cancel a subscription; cancel an existing subscription after buying Lifetime.
